Featured Wines by the Taste
Enomatic Machines are a state-of-the-art Wine Serving System designed and manufactured in Italy. This advanced technology allows wine consumers to sample wines in various amounts. The Wine Room offers cards that can be “loaded” periodically and can be used in the many dispensing machines. Simply insert the card then press a button for the volume of wine you desire. The card then records the sample after each wine is served and adjusts the amount left on the card. The Wine Room on Park Avenue offers 148 wines by the one-ounce pour and 100 wines by the half glass and full glass pour. We change the selection on a monthly basis, always taking great pride in choosing the finest quality wines on the market.

The Chook Shiraz/Viognier
Highly perfumed nose offers an energetic bouquet of peppery dark berries, fresh violet and smoked meat. On the palate, this displays a real northern Rhone like personality, with an array of dark berry and candied floral flavors.
Layer Cake Shiraz
An explosion of dark berry. black cherry, exotic spices and chocolate fill the mouth; complete from attack through a long, linerging finish.
Quarterback Red
This blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon has good palate weight and structure without any hint of aggressive young tannins as they have been balanced out by the Grenache and Merlot.
Torbreck Woodcutter’s Shiraz
Aromas of juicy stone fruit (black cherry, apricot), crystalised violets, toast, pepper and spicy brown sauce. On the palate, it’s full of dark jubey fruit, violet, spice and tar flavors.
Woop Woop Shiraz
It’s deep in colour with great intensity, bursting with blackberry fruit juice, blueberry jam and masses of clean varietal Shiraz fruit.
Two Hands Angel’s Share Shiraz
Angel’s Share reveals a Cote-Rotie-like nose with its scents of mineral, meat, game and bacon. On the palate there is plenty of sweet, spicy blueberry fruit, silky tannin, and incipient complexity.
Mollydooker “The Boxer” Shiraz 91 Pts
On the tongue, you first notice the black cherry creamsicle, followed by the velvet robes of black cherry pie. Very light acids, bright, bold and deep all at same time.
Penfolds Bin 389 Cab/Shiraz
The palate is tight and full-bodied, persistent, long and forceful. The wine has impressive texture, with pronounced, well -defined powdery tannins and oak totally absorbed in a wash of licorice and berries.
Folie a Deux, Menage a Trois – Calif.
Three saucy grapes make up the blend, hence the name. Zinfandel adds a juicy character, Merlot mellows and Cabernet adds backbone.
The Chocolate Block – S. Africa
The nose exhibits nice spicy dark chocolate aromas. On the palate, the mouth is rich and stylish. Balanced with smooth tannins and with ripe red fruits, dark chocolate and smoky flavors.
Orin Swift, “The Prisoner” – Calif.
Comprised of just about every red varietal you can imagine (Zin, Cab, Petite Sirah, Carignane, Malbec, to name a few), this new vintage is more in-line with the first few vintages that were produced-full-bodied, layered, with wild notes of fruit, spice and zip.
Boom Boom Syrah – Wash. St.
Flavors with some black pepper, berry fruit and a sweet dark chocolate. The finish hangs on for a long time.
Duckhorn “Paraduxx” Red
A proprietor’s blend of 65% Zinfandel, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, aged in both American and French oak (primarily new), this deep opaque ruby/purple-colored effort offers a sexy bouquet of chocolate, cassis, berries and melted road tar.
Petite Petit Syrah
There’s lots of dark fruit flavors like plum, blackberry & cassis with good acidity and a nice finish. Well worth the price!
Bogle “Phantom” Red
Intensely fruit forward on the entry, this deep ruby apparition begins with aromas of blueberries, violets and chocolate-covered cherries, dusted with touches of black pepper.
Cinnabar “Mercury Rising” Red
Smoky blackberry fruit folds into cedar, fresh herb and earth flavors. Firm tannins clamp down on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Almirez, Toro
Black pepper, soy. Soft, and limpid mouth feel on the mid palate. Interesting notes of chocolate and red fruits. Definitely reminds you of Numanthia Termes. Delicious fruit, depth and finish are wonderful.
Emilio Moro, Ribera del Duero
Moro goes further by extracting surprising notes of mint and chocolate decadence; and its medium sized weight comes across velvety rich and smooth on the palate.
Muga, Reserva
The nose combines vanilla, smokiness and ash with cranberries and just the right amount of horse blanket and leather. In the mouth, the tart tannins make a ripe blanket on top of the tart cherry fruit.
Abadia Retuerta “Rivola”
Rivola is brilliant ruby in color with violet highlights. On the nose, the wine is fresh and generously fruity, with impressions of ripe raspberries, strawberries and wild cherries offset by notes of jasmine, spice and mint.
Juan Gil, Jumilla
This rich, full-bodied inky/purple-tinged cuvee exhibits aromas of scorched earth, licorice, blueberries & pepper, a savory layered texture and a remarkable opulence for a Mouvedre.
Wrongo Dongo, Jumilla
Wrongo Dongo is 100% Monastrell sourced from a Gil family estate vineyard. Purple-colored and exceptionally fragrant, the nose gives up notes of underbrush, mineral, spice box, and blueberry.
Garnacha de Fuego, Calatayud
Sweet raspberry and cherry fruit intermixed with loamy soil and spice aromas soar from the glass of this medium-bodied, richly fruity red that has never seen a hint of wood.
Sierra Cantabria, Rioja
Powerful, oak-influenced aromas of raspberry and strawberry preserves, with a strong coconut accent. Deep and lush, the red berry flavors almost sweet, with notes of baking spices and vanilla adding appeal. Rioja with a bright finish.
Mendel Malbec

Tikal Amorio Malbec
Tikal makes Malbec to end all Malbecs: huge, thick, chewy, robust, yet incredibly rich, plush, almost sweet. The compact, blackberry character of the grape is here in phenomenal concentration, intensified by vanillin oak and espresso-like smokiness.
Antigal Uno “1″ Malbec
Deep red in color, the wine has aromas of earth, leather and pepper. The bold flavors emphasize tart red fruit and tannins, with a spicy middle and long finish. It’s a robust mouth-filler

Catena Malbec

Deep and dark red with violet hues. A tasty blend of black currant, blackberry, roasted red pepper, and black pepper, whose flavors carry over onto the palate.
Duckhorn Decoy Sauv. Bl.- Calif.
This is a delightfully crisp, drily balanced Sauvignon Blanc that’s perfect as a cocktail sipper with little appetizers. Made without any oak influence, it shows the variety’s grapefruit, Meyer lemon, lime and grassy side, along with zesty acidity.
Mulderbosch Sauv. Bl. – S. Africa
The flavor of this internationally renowned wine is a beautiful balance between cool & ripe citrus flavors and massive fruit-packed with guava, lemon and passion fruit.
Vincent Delaporte Sancerre – France

Whitehaven Sauv. Bl. – New Zealand
For two years, Greg and Sue White sailed the Pacific Ocean in search of a new course. In New Zealand’s South Island, they found a place so beautiful and unspoiled, they sold their boat, set down roots and established WhiteHaven Wine Co., which produces some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in New Zealand.
Graville-Lacoste, Graves – France
The color is a brilliant medium gold and the bouquet offers notes of honeydew melon, pineapple, and white flowers. The Graville-Lacoste is honeyed and refreshing with nuances of candied lemons, figs and a hint of flint and gravel terroir.
Cloudy Bay Sauv. Bl. – New Zealand
Its aromatics encapsulate a broad spectrum of varietal flavours; tropical fragrances of guava and mango to ripe lime/ citrus and sweet herbs.
The palate also is juicy and voluminous, combining concentrated flavours with a mineral acidity that leaves a long, fresh, intense finish.
Honig Sauv. Bl. – Calif.
Fresh and zingy, with aromas of ruby grapefruit, mango and papaya and perfectly balanced citrus and tropical flavors. The texture is crisp and mouthwatering with a minerally finish meant to handle sautéed snapper or grilled chicken breast.
Far Niente Chardonnay
The wine’s mouth-filling entry is followed by an expansive and beautifully textured middle-palate with notes of hazelnut and mineral toasty oak rounds out the fruit and the wine ends in a long, lingering finish.

A blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet & 20% Cab Franc, this wine is drinking well right now but will continue to improve over the next 4-5 years.
Chat Moulin de L’Esperance 2009
The vineyard is planted 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet, 15% Cab Franc & 5% Malbec, however, the Moulin de L’Esperance is usually 100% Merlot, only occasionally using 10% Cabernet in the blend. The result is a softer style wine with blackberry & plum flavors.

Deep purple colour, almost black. Elegant bouquet of ripe fruit with grilled overtones. Fleshy tannic structure, fruity with a lot of aromatic persistency. A promising wine to be served in 2 or 3 years.
Chat Roland La Garde 2009
One of the stars of the Cotes de Blaye, Roland La Garde consistently produces serious, tasty, juicy, fruit-driven reds with good amounts of structure and wood.
Jaboulet Cotes du Rhone, Parallele 45
Inky, with deep fruit and a cinnamon note, this rich, even lush wine marries deep raspberry and cherry fruit with meaty Syrah notes and plenty of oak.
Perrin Vacqueyras
Very racy, with lots of red and black currant fruit backed by a great graphite spine. Offers nice hints licorice, spice and iron on the finish.

Belle Glos Los Alturas Pinot Noir

Coppola “Director’s Cut” Pinot Noir
Open-top fermentation produces a plush, silky texture, which accentuates the tantalizing flavors of crushed cranberries, cherry, strawberry, allspice, clove and vanilla.
Lemelson’s “Thea’s Vyd,” Pinot Noir
Thea’s is named after Dorothy Lemelson’s mother who liked rich, satisfying Pinots, with lush fruit, soft tannins, and enough “backbone” (structure and acidity) to pair easily with fine cuisine.
La Crema “Los Carneros” Pinot Noir
This vintage gave the wine brooding, earthy aromas of cherry and forest floor, with touches of spice. Flavors are complex, full with cherry, coffee and molasses surrounded by a soft, velvety texture that ends in a fleshy finish.
MacMurray Sonoma Pinot Noir
The finest efforts include the Santa Lucia Highlands, which exhibits plenty of blue and red fruits, good lushness, and an intriguing floral component. Medium to full-bodied and elegant, it is best consumed over the next 3-4 years.
Mark West Pinot Noir (Calif)
Ripe, almost candied flavors of black cherry and blackberry supported by firm tannins…Sturdy Pinot that can stand up to full-flavored barbequed meats. One of the best values in the store.
Flowers Sonoma Pinot Noir
Walt and Joann Flowers sold their plant nursery to become winery owners in the early 1990′s. Their choice of Sonoma Coast terroir yields lovely Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that burst with flavor. Ripe hints of earth tones, mushrooms, flavors of bing cherry and plum burst over soft silky tannins.
Erath Estate Pinot Noir
A silky sweet entry to leads to bright flavors of red currant, raspberry and orange peel. The persistent finish is perfectly complemented by a pleasingly buoyant acidity.
Senghe Bianchi Amarone
This beautiful Amarone offers up an attractive array of ripe red cherries, flowers, spices and sweet herbs, with lovely balance and tons of polish. Tar, smoke and licorice linger on the close.
Falesco Vitiano Rosso
A big, super-ripe wine bursting with red cherries, earthiness and spices. This is a truly beautiful Vitiano Rosso with tons of fruit and a racy, opulent personality.
Masi Campofiorin (Ripasso)
On the palate, the wine is round and offers complex aromas of ripe red fruits and berry-fruit preserve. The good acidity and soft tannins gives the wine its easy drinking style.
Appollonio Salice Salentino
Excellent fruit (black raspberries and berries) as well as scorched earth, and melted tar. Chewy, rustic, dense, and mouth-filling, with good purity, it should drink well for 2-3 years.
DiMajo Norante Sangiovese
Medium-bodied and complex with a spicy oak flavor that lingers on the tongue with a strong tannin finish. This wine is a perfect match with tomato-based cuisine and the spicier the better.
Layer Cake Primitivo
The aroma of this wine is very Hi-c fruit punch mixed with skittles, mulberry,and bramble berry. Lots of ripe, sugary favors mixed with a touch of blackberry and oak.
Travaglini Gattinara
Gattinara is a pretty, mid-weight Nebbiolo. Sweet cherries, tobacco, herbs and crushed flowers are some of the notes that emerge from this classy, refined red.
Greppone Mazzi Brunello di Montalcino
Displays a full bodied structure. It is lush and enveloping on the palate, with soft tannins and a tight, vibrating texture, full of fruity notes.
A long lingering aftertaste with balsamic notes characterizes the 2004 vintage with interesting notes of nuts and chocolate
Ca’ Montebello Pinot Grigio
Bright, clean and loaded with fresh fruit flavors. Peach, lemon, tangerine and guava notes tickle your palate and reminds you of how a Pinot Grigio is supposed to taste.
Menage a Trois White

Saarstein Riesling, QBA
The 24-acre vineyard at Schloss Saarstein enjoys the perfect conditions for growing the Riesling grape, it is situated on a steep hillside facing south-to-southwest and it has a black slatey soil. Light, but complex. A touch of petrol on the nose(that’s a good thing). plus stone fruit and mineral nuances.
Dr. Pauly “Noble House” Riesling
Noble House is a wine named in honor of Prince Elect who ruled Germany for nearly 700 hundred years. This is a great summertime house pour white with pleasant notes of lemon, lime, tangerine, white petals and a touch of minerals.
Saint M, Riesling
Very nice, off-dry wine with peach on the nose and grapefuit on the finish, as well as noticeable minerality. Very good on its own and pairs well with many dishes.
Zilliken “Butterfly” Riesling
Fresh floral aromas spun with pear and cassis tickles the nose. White peach, orange and lemon fill out the palate. It is tart and clean, with sleek composition and fine minerality throughout.
Snoqualmie “Naked” Riesling (organic)
Organically-farmed and produced, this Riesling offers bright aromas of spicy apple and pear. These spice characteristics are carried through the palate. The off-dry finish is clean and soft.
Pacific Rim Sweet Riesling
Fragrant, moderately sweet with flavors of pear, pineapple and peach. Fermented with wild, native yeasts, this wine is perfect with fiery fare from Thai to Szechuan ot Caribbean cuisine.
Wente Riverbank Riesling
The nose & scents of stone fruit, clean and ripe. The mouth is lush with lovely peach and apricot flavors and a hint of sweetness.

Juicy pear notes mingle with apple, quince and hints of honeysuckle. An essence of lemongrass adds balance. Mineral notes power through on the finish.
Monchof “Mosel Slate” Riealing
Loaded with peach and nectarine flavors, this is rich and expressive. Well-integrated acidity. Nice juicy finish.
J.J. Prum Bernkastler Badstube Kabinett
